Life
"A life driven by a simple blueprint: a taste for complex challenges, a refusal to accept the word 'impossible,' & a lifelong obsession with making spaces and ideas feel alive."
Beyond the boardroom meetings at RAMS Global and the high-end production pipelines at Dreambox, Çağrı Öztoksoy's world is firmly anchored by his family. He is, first and foremost, a proud father to his three children: Balım, Biricik Mika, and Ali Deniz. For him, they are the ultimate inspiration and the center of everything he builds.
The Journey of
an Early Adopter
Born and raised in Istanbul, Çağrı's path has always been defined by a restless drive to operate where design meets technology. After graduating with honors in Graphic Design from Bilkent University's Faculty of Art, Design & Architecture, he packed his bags for Europe, chasing a hunger for technical mastery that took him from digital branding workflows in Frankfurt to high-end post-production training at Discreet Logic in London.
When he returned to Turkey, that rare combination of artistic intuition and cutting-edge technical skill landed him at the national broadcast network ATV during its foundational years. His seven-year journey there was a trial by fire. Moving rapidly from news graphics to Creative Director meant running multiple visual departments under the intense, unpredictable clock of live television. It was here he mastered the art of high-pressure storytelling and real-time execution, the exact catalyst that led him to found Dreambox in 2001, building it into an internationally recognized, 38+ award-winning creative technology company.
Cultivating the
Amateur Soul
What keeps a 35-year legacy of creative leadership fresh? For Çağrı, the secret is maintaining what he calls an "amateur soul full of passion" — a deliberate refusal to settle into comfortable routines or rigid templates. If there is even a glimmer of light through a cracked door, he will throw himself into it until the door is wide open. He steps in where things are undefined, visualizes what is possible, and simply makes it real.
Personal Spheres
His life outside of work is where he recharges, experiments, and stays grounded. These are not passive hobbies; they are hands-on obsessions that define his daily world:
The Sea:Deeply attached to the water, he spends his time power boating, offshore fishing, and diving across the Bosphorus, the Marmara, and across the world. The sea is his space for absolute silence, focus, and clarity.
Art & Innovative Installations:His artistic outlet has evolved into contemporary acrylic painting, large-scale mixed-media work, and innovative installations that merge sculpture with video mapping. It is a space of pure expression, just a raw canvas, form, technology, and zero rules.
Spatial Restoration & Craft:He has a genuine passion for interior design, architectural restoration, and a hands-on love for bringing broken things back to life. Whether it is redesigning a space or spending hours fixing a forgotten, weathered object, he finds immense satisfaction in uncovering hidden potential.
Botany & Living Spaces:His terrace and home are a sprawling personal sanctuary. He actively cares for a massive botanical collection of hundreds of indoor plants, terrace cacti, and enjoys the patience and pleasure of growing various types of homegrown vegetables. It is a daily practice that keeps him connected to the rhythm of nature.
Simple Pleasures:An active skier who loves the speed of the winter slopes, a culinary experimenter always searching for new flavor profiles in the kitchen, and a true cat lover who deeply values the quiet, independent presence of his feline companions.
Ultimately, whether he is guiding an international architectural masterplan, orchestrating an immersive installation, or nurturing his home garden, the driving force remains identical: a profound joy in taking raw elements and turning them into something meaningful, vibrant, and alive.
