Executive Profile

Çağrı Öztoksoy is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary designer, creative director, show director, & founder of Dreambox.

For more than 35 years, his career has continuously evolved across design, architecture, media, immersive environments, interactive technologies, branding, film production, and experience-led developments.

Beyond the boardroom meetings at RAMS Global and the high-end production pipelines at Dreambox, Çağrı Öztoksoy's world is firmly anchored by his family. He is, first and foremost, a proud father to his three children: Balım, Biricik Mika, and Ali Deniz. For him, they are the ultimate inspiration and the center of everything he builds.

Multidisciplinary Evolution

Rather than mastering a single profession, Çağrı deliberately expanded across multiple disciplines throughout his career.

Broadcast became storytelling.

Storytelling evolved into experience design.

Experience design expanded into architecture.

Architecture evolved into experience-led real estate development.

Technology became another creative material.

Today, these disciplines no longer operate independently, they function as a single integrated methodology that allows ideas to move seamlessly from vision to execution.

Innovation Through Curiosity

Innovation has never been about technology.

For Çağrı, innovation begins by questioning existing limitations. Throughout his career, he has consistently brought together designers, architects, engineers, filmmakers, software developers, and technologists to create solutions that previously did not exist.

Technology has never been the destination.

It has simply been another creative material, used to create experiences that are more immersive, more emotional, and ultimately more valuable. This philosophy has resulted in numerous industry firsts across broadcast, interactive media, real-time visualization, spatial experiences, and immersive environments.

Selected Innovations & Milestones

Board Advisory & Spatial Strategy

Today, Çağrı contributes to large-scale real estate developments by combining architecture, branding, storytelling, visualization, customer experience, and commercialization into a unified development strategy.

His work includes helping shape destination-scale projects, immersive sales ecosystems, and customer journeys that allow developments to be experienced—and trusted, long before construction begins.

Creative Technology & Engineering

Believing that creativity should never be limited by available technology, he established multidisciplinary engineering teams within Dreambox to develop proprietary software, production pipelines, and visualization systems tailored specifically for complex projects.

Among these innovations:

  • Led the development of Turkey's first software-based edge blending and projection mapping systems.
  • Led the creation of early real-time videowall management software, reducing dependence on hardware-based solutions.
  • Introduced one of the region's first production-level GPU rendering workflows, reducing architectural visualization rendering times from hours to under one minute.
  • Continues integrating AI-assisted visualization, real-time presentation systems, and interactive design workflows into architecture and experience design.

Virtual Reality & Spatial Computing

Long before immersive technologies became mainstream, Çağrı established dedicated internal R&D teams exploring virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive spatial experiences.

These initiatives led to Tesseract VR, one of the region's earliest standalone virtual reality experiences developed for public audiences, together with numerous environments integrating gesture recognition, multi-touch interaction, real-time sensors, and immersive storytelling.

Immersive Environments & Experience Design

His multidisciplinary approach has resulted in numerous internationally recognized innovations, including:

  • One of Turkey's first high-resolution interactive projection mapping experiences.
  • One of the world's earliest interactive holographic presentation systems developed for luxury real estate and presented internationally at MIPIM Cannes.
  • Early mobile-integrated live projection mapping experiences for global brands.
  • Region-first immersive architectural visualization systems combining LED, projection mapping, real-time rendering, and physical architecture.
  • Multi-sensory presentation platforms enabling projects to be experienced before construction.

Interactive Media & Digital Platforms

In 2002, he founded DMX Digital, one of the world's earliest online stock footage initiatives dedicated to moving imagery, well before stock video became an established global industry.

At the same time, he designed some of Turkey's earliest fully animated interactive web experiences using Flash technology, pioneering rich digital storytelling during the early years of the web.

Broadcast & Media Technologies (1994–2001)

During his years at ATV, Çağrı played a key role in introducing several technologies that transformed broadcast production in Türkiye.

Following advanced training at Discreet Logic (London), he became one of the earliest professionals in the region to integrate Silicon Graphics Flame, Flint, and Inferno systems into national television workflows.

He also introduced Turkey's first non-linear editing pipelines, developed early virtual studio environments, and designed interactive election broadcast systems that combined real-time graphics, data visualization, and live storytelling.

Design Philosophy

Technology has never been the destination. People are.

Every project, whether an interactive software platform, a museum, a presidential ceremony, or a destination-scale development, begins with the same three questions:

  • Why should this exist?
  • Why should anyone care?
  • How should it make people feel?

Only then do design, architecture, engineering, film, software, and technology come together, not to showcase innovation, but to create experiences people genuinely remember.

He does not move between disciplines. He connects them.
